The titanium mesh basket has high strength, light weight, corrosion resistance and an oxide film on the surface, which can prevent the current from passing through the titanium mesh basket under normal electroplating conditions and make the current directly lead to the anode material in the titanium mesh basket.
There are various types of titanium nets, which can be specially designed according to the requirements of the product
Titanium nets are usually used in conjunction with anode bags. The anode bag is generally made of acid-alkali corrosion or oxidation resistant polyester (polyester fiber) or polypropylene (polypropylene fiber), and is set outside the titanium net basket to prevent debris such as anode mud from mixing into the tank. Sometimes in order to prevent anode mud more effectively and prevent the coating from generating burrs, double-layer anode bags can be used. When using double bags, the inner bag should be set tightly and the outer bag should be loosened. Anode bag generally must have good corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, good elasticity and so on.
Second, the advantages of using titanium nets
1, can effectively control the ratio of anode and anode area
2, the anode solubility is good, produce less anode mud
3, anode material loading or supplement is convenient. Anode maintenance is also relatively simple
4, the anode material is fully used and can use corner surplus material, saving energy consumption and reducing costs

Three, titanium mesh basket design points
1, the conductivity of titanium is poor, generally in the hook outside the water current is not greater than 0.24A/mm2, the hook current in the water is not greater than 1.5A/mm2, otherwise the hook body heat, resulting in the plating bath temperature rise, increase in cooling capacity, waste of energy, and even due to heat bad plastic groove
2, titanium basket hook and electrode generally do not use a plane or round surface contact, this way is easy to cause poor contact, so that the electrode spot corrosion
Four, the use of titanium nets precautions
1. The anode titanium net basket and anode bag are soaked in 10% lye for 6-8 hours, washed dry, and then soaked with 5% dilute sulfuric acid
2. When it is found that the titanium mesh hook becomes significantly hot, the number of titanium mesh baskets can be increased or the cross-section size of the titanium mesh hook can be increased to improve the conductivity of the titanium mesh basket
3, titanium mesh basket mouth should be slightly higher than the liquid level 30-40mm to prevent the outflow of anode slag
4, the lower end of the titanium mesh basket should be higher than the parts 100~150mm (close to the liquid side can be considered to install a shield), to avoid the lower end of the part current is too concentrated, causing burning
5, titanium mesh basket and anode should be in close contact, otherwise the anode potential on the titanium mesh basket will rise sharply, so that the surface of the titanium mesh basket oxygen evolution and chlorine evolution reaction, causing damage to the titanium mesh basket and oxidation of additives
6, the anode bag to the titanium mesh basket mouth tightly wrapped, the bottom of the bag should leave a few centimeters gap to store the possible anode mud
7, every half a month to a month to clean the anode bag and titanium net basket, and replace the damaged anode bag, plating solution, plating tank pollution-free
8, timely supplement or enrich the anode material, so as not to "overhead" when the amount of nickel is not enough, otherwise titanium will be etched.
